You will need to supply unleaded petrol and engine oil (60ml of SAE10W 30 engine oil) before start up. 

This Spear & Jackson 4-Stroke 26cc petrol hedge trimmer has the power to tackle any challenging trimming tasks and is ideal for large hedges.
It cuts through branches up to 28mm thick, considerably larger than most electric equivalents.
With a long 55cm cutting blade, and the power of a petrol engine, this is suitable for the most demanding of hedges, including dense hedges such as beech.
With dual action blades you'll get a cleaner cut and finish on your hedges.
The pivoting rear handle ensures a comfortable grip when using the product at different angles.
With petrol power, you can work anywhere, without the risk of cutting the cable.
